Mental Health and why I do what I do.
Why do I do what I do? To be honest I really like people. My previous struggles with my own mental health problems brought me out the other side of therapy a positive new man. Meaning, I now have deeper understanding, empathy and compassion for others. There really is no better feeling than to watch the transformations taking place as the therapy starts to take hold. Slowly but surely their symptoms just seem to fade away and they start to remark how good they feel. How their family and friends have noticed something different within them.
How I got started was by pure accident. While working in a large psychiatric hospital in southern England, my charge nurse introduced me to clinical and pastoral counselling. It was interesting but lacked something for me, then one day by chance I came across an advert in a newspaper. The advert read “An investigation of mankind under the microscope of hypnosis”, I was hooked. That passion that was born that day, is still with me even now. I often stop and think of the changes I have made within another where conventional medicine failed; it astonishes me.
My Initial Training in Hypnotherapy
I trained with the IAH – Europe’s largest group of hypno-analysts at the time. This is where I obtained my Diplomas in Hypnotherapy, Hypno-Analysis and Psychotherapy way back in March 1996. Since then I have helped a myriad of people with a variety of emotional problems. I specialise in the release of childhood traumas and clerical abuse.
If you would like to know how I may be of assistance just get in contact with me.
